After doing gastroenteroscopy without taking biopsy, it usually does not cause significant irritation to the intestines and stomach, and it is recommended to eat 3~4 hours after doing the examination to prevent aggravating the irritation to the above areas.
Doing gastroenteroscopy while taking biopsy may lead to different degrees of bleeding symptoms at the biopsy site, in which case the normal eating time should be appropriately delayed to prevent food friction on the biopsy site, causing gastrointestinal pain manifestations.
Do not eat spicy and stimulating food or drink alcohol within 24 hours after the examination, you should eat some light and nutritious liquid food.
