How to relieve dizziness in the back of the head

Dizziness and sinking in the back of the head may be caused by physiological factors, cervical spondylosis, posterior circulation ischemia, and so on. There are different relief methods for different causes, mainly general treatment, medication, surgery and so on.
1. Physiological factors: If the dizziness at the back of the head is caused by insufficient sleep for a long period of time, usually no special treatment is needed. It is recommended to have a regular work schedule, avoid staying up late, and ensure that you have enough sleep every day, which is conducive to the improvement of the above symptoms.
2. Cervical spondylosis: If cervical spondylosis leads to insufficient blood supply to the vertebral basilar artery and causes dizziness and dullness in the back of the head, local massage, acupuncture, traction and other physical treatments can be carried out to improve the local blood circulation and alleviate clinical symptoms. If the symptoms are serious, surgery should be considered if necessary.
3. Posterior circulation ischemia: It can be caused by cerebral infarction, which leads to dizziness in the back of the head. When the condition is critical, drugs such as alteplase should be applied promptly within 4.5 hours of the onset of the disease to carry out thrombolytic therapy. Antiplatelet drugs such as aspirin and clopidogrel can also be used for treatment.
After excluding physiological factors, patients with dizziness in the back of the head should consult a doctor in time, and drugs should be used under the guidance of a doctor.
