Sudden convulsions and rolling eyes are considered as possible febrile convulsions if they are in children and accompanied by fever. If it is a febrile convulsion, the patient is advised to lower the body temperature promptly. If an adult develops sudden convulsions and rolls his eyes, epilepsy is considered more likely. The cause of epilepsy should be determined, such as intracranial infection, intracranial metastases or cerebral infarction, which may cause these symptoms. It is recommended to perform dynamic EEG and cranial MRI scan with enhancement, and to give relevant treatment according to the cause to prevent the patient from reoccurring convulsions and other symptoms. Anti-epileptic drugs should also be given according to the type of epilepsy to prevent the patient from reoccurring.
