The symptoms of Down’s syndrome babies are obvious and differ greatly from ordinary babies in terms of appearance and intelligence. 1, mental intellectual development is delayed, low intelligence, often open mouth and tongue, shorter stature, clumsy gait; development is obviously backward. 2.Short head and front neck, thick neck, flat occipital area, into a flat head, thin hair. 3.Frontal bone, nasal bone and jaw bone of the face are stunted, becoming flat face, short nose, low nasal bridge, small mouth and palate, and short hard jaw. 4.The tongue is fat and large, with tooth indentation around the tongue, deep groove-like cracks on the tongue surface, poorly developed tongue papillae, map tongue when there is tongue moss, tongue often sticking out of the mouth, and incomplete development of teeth. 5. Small ears, excessive folding of the upper auricle, small or absent earlobes. 6. The palm finger bones are short, the hand is relatively wide, the trigeminal point of the palm is displaced distally, the thumb and index finger are far apart, and the little finger lacks a joint and is bent inward. It is common to have through palm lines. The toes are also more widely spaced between the first and second toes. Most children with Down’s syndrome are prone to congenital heart disease and about 30% are prone to congenital gastrointestinal malformations, and most children are prone to leukemia when they grow up and most do not live to adulthood.
