Sinew and Bone Pain Relieving Pills are effective in promoting blood circulation and circulation of qi, reducing swelling and relieving pain (eliminating swelling and pain).
It is composed of Salvia miltiorrhiza, Corylus officinalis, Aromatic herbs, Radix Ophiopogonis, Radix et Rhizoma Ophiopogonis, Cortex Cinnamomi, Radix et Rhizoma Gentianae, Radix Paeoniae Alba and others. It has the effect of promoting blood circulation, warming the meridians and collaterals, reducing swelling and relieving pain. It is used for treating knee joint pain, swelling and limitation of movement caused by osteoarthritis of the knee joint which belongs to the syndrome of blood stasis and cold condensation.
It is not recommended for pregnant women. It is not suitable for patients with osteoarthritis of the knee joint belonging to Yang-heat syndrome. Adverse reactions include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, dry mouth, rash, itching, dizziness, headache and so on.
