The survival time of diffuse hepatocellular carcinoma in advanced stage is around three months to half a year. Diffuse hepatocellular carcinoma mainly affects the liver function of patients, manifesting as loss of appetite, poor appetite, jaundice, decrease in albumin, ascites, hemorrhage, and even in serious cases, it can lead to hepatic coma, which manifests as loss of consciousness, loss of response to all kinds of stimuli, and inverted sleep, thus endangering the life. Decreased liver function can also manifest as oliguria and even severe ascites. In conclusion, the advanced stage of diffuse hepatocellular carcinoma is a great danger to the survival of patients, and the life span of patients is very short. There is no way to implement various treatments, and only palliative treatment or symptomatic treatment can be used. If there is obvious ascites, albumin plus diuretic can be used, and if there is difficulty in eating, gastric tube placement can be used to strengthen nutrition.
