Tonsil polyp symptoms

Tonsil polyps are usually associated with tonsillitis, and when inflammation is present, pain and fever in the throat can occur. When there is no inflammation, tonsillar polyps are small and can be asymptomatic, only a foreign body sensation. When the tonsil polyp is larger, it can cause foreign body sensation, coughing, swallowing food obstruction, etc. During the examination, there can be transparent new organisms on the surface of the tonsil that are soft to the touch, and the base is in contact with the tonsil. This procedure is minimally invasive and has the advantages of fast recovery and less bleeding. After surgery, a liquid diet should be given to avoid postoperative tonsil bleeding.
