What is the course of treatment for Walker’s Gastro

Walker, or vonorasan fumarate tablets, can be beneficial in the treatment of reflux esophagitis for 4 weeks, or up to 8 weeks if the treatment is not effective. Vonorasan fumarate inhibits gastric acid secretion. Therefore, it is commonly used in clinical practice for the treatment of reflux esophagitis caused by excessive gastric acid secretion. Adults take 20 mg once daily, and patients usually benefit at 4 weeks, with a maximum of 8 weeks if the treatment is not effective. Vonorasan fumarate may cause adverse reactions such as nausea, bloating, headache, elevated aminotransferases, and rash. It is contraindicated in case of allergy to this drug; it is also contraindicated in patients being treated with atazanavir or ribavirin. It is recommended to use this drug properly under the supervision of a doctor. If patients experience discomfort after taking this drug, they should go to the hospital in time and follow the doctor’s advice for treatment to avoid delaying the condition.
