You can use Angelica sinensis and Astragalus to replenish qi and blood, but the exact effect varies from person to person and there is no such thing as the best way.
Angelica sinensis has the effects of tonifying and activating blood, regulating menstruation and relieving pain (regulating menstruation and relieving menstrual pain), and moistening the intestines and laxatives. It is usually used in treating blood deficiency and yellowish color (yellowish color caused by less blood in the body), dizziness and palpitation (rapid heartbeat, often accompanied by panic), irregular menstruation, menstrual cramps, dysmenorrhea, abdominal pain with coldness, rheumatism and paralysis, bruises and injuries, and intestinal dryness and constipation.
Astragalus has the effects of tonifying qi and elevating yang (tonifying qi so that yang qi rises), inducing diuresis and eliminating swelling (facilitating urination and eliminating edema), generating fluid and nourishing blood (replenishing the body’s fluid and blood), promoting stagnation and paralysis, supporting toxins and draining pus (draining pus and toxins from the body), and restraining sores and regenerating the muscle (helping sores to heal more quickly, and promoting the growth of new flesh).
Astragalus is usually used for Qi deficiency, loose stools (thin and unformed feces), prolonged diarrhea and prolapse of the anus, sweating due to surface deficiency (frequent natural sweating due to weakness of the surface of the muscle), edema due to Qi deficiency, blood deficiency and yellowish coloration, and prolonged ulceration (ulceration of sores that do not heal).
Both have some effect on replenishing qi and blood, but whether it is the best way to do so needs to be judged according to the patient’s own situation. Different drugs may cause different adverse reactions, it is recommended to take under the guidance of a physician, do not self-medication.
