Signs of Improvement in Pneumonia

Pneumonia is one of the most common diseases, which is generally referred to as infectious pneumonia, that is, acute inflammation of lung tissues caused by infection with various pathogenic bacteria. The signs of improvement are mainly the gradual reduction or alleviation of the corresponding clinical symptoms, such as the most common is the gradual decline of the temperature peak, and stabilized within 72 hours without rebound, or the temperature returns to normal for more than 72 hours. At the same time, the patient’s clinical symptoms such as coughing and sputum gradually decrease, the amount of sputum decreases, the color of sputum gradually becomes lighter, for example, from yellow sputum or green sputum to white sputum, and the patient’s mental state gradually recovers, including the gradual increase of appetite and energy, and the symptoms such as chest pain basically disappeared. In laboratory tests, the blood level gradually decreases, and chest radiographs or CT scan of the lungs show that the inflammatory lesions in the lungs are gradually decreasing in size or gradually absorbing, which are all signs or symptoms of improvement of pneumonia.
