When to take vitamin tablets

Take vitamin tablets, usually fat-soluble vitamins or stimulating ones after meals or between meals, but try not to take them on an empty stomach. There are many types of vitamins, such as vitamin A, vitamin K, vitamin D, vitamin E, etc. They are fat-soluble vitamins and are beneficial for absorption when taken with fatty foods. After taking vitamins orally, they are mainly absorbed by the duodenum, small intestine or ileocecal region. In order to improve the utilization rate of drugs, it is recommended to take them with food in the stomach. People who have been taking the glucose-lowering drug metformin for a long time, or people with enteritis, diarrhea or vegetarianism, or people who have had a major gastrectomy or ileocecal resection, are prone to vitamin B12 deficiency, and such people need to be supplemented with B12 injections as directed by their doctors, which is not well absorbed orally. Vitamin tablets should not be taken in large doses for a long time, but according to physiological needs. In certain disease states, they need to be used in strict compliance with the instructions or under the guidance of a professional doctor. You should pay attention to a reasonable diet, not partial diet, and eat more vegetables and fruits, which will help to meet the body’s vitamin needs.
