Periodontitis is the inflammation of the periodontal bone of the teeth, which eventually causes the periodontal membrane to destroy the alveolar bone and lead to the loosening of the teeth. Other diseases that cause loose teeth are tumors of maxillary and mandibular bone, especially tumors of maxillary sinus origin, mainly malignant osteosarcoma and squamous cell carcinoma, which are characterized by: (1) significant loosening of teeth within a short period of time, (2) the patient is usually young, usually between 25 and 35 years old (3) the wound does not heal after tooth extraction, and there is a granulation-like tissue proliferation (4) the X-ray is taken to find maxillary sinus or jaw bone tumor.
