Difference between sarsaparilla and adamantium

Sarsaparilla and Vitis vinifera are different in flavor, attribution, efficacy and main treatment.
According to the Chinese Pharmacopoeia, Sarsaparilla is the dried rhizome of Sarsaparilla sarsaparilla, family Liliaceae, with sweet, slightly bitter and astringent flavor, flat nature, attributed to the liver and kidney meridians, with the effect of inducing dampness and removing turbidity, expelling wind and removing paralysis, and detoxifying and dissipating blood stasis.
Sarsaparilla can be used for urinary gonorrhea (difficulty in urinating, turbid urine), profuse subcutaneous discharge, rheumatic paralysis (pain in the joints of the limbs, unfavorable flexion and extension), carbuncle and swellings (all kinds of skin swellings and painful diseases). Its adverse reactions and contraindications are not clear.
According to “Chinese Materia Medica (Hmong Medicine Volume)”, Adamantine is the rhizome of Sarsaparilla, family Liliaceae, sweet, sour, astringent, cold in nature, into the heat meridian, with the efficacy of dispelling wind and removing dampness, facilitating urination, activating blood circulation to dispel blood stasis, and detoxifying and dispersing knots.
It is often used in the treatment of rheumatism and paralysis, swelling and pain, furuncle and scrofula (mainly refers to neck lymph node tuberculosis). Its adverse effects are not clear, and it should not be taken with tea or vinegar at the same time.
