If you want to know if it is a cancer of the eyelid, or a malignant tumor of the eyelid, you can judge it based on two main aspects: first, the symptoms of the disease. Malignant tumors generally develop very rapidly and are prone to breakage and bleeding on the surface of the mass. The borders of the mass are relatively indistinct and can be used to distinguish benign tumors from malignant tumors. Second, pathological examination is the gold standard for differentiating benign tumors from malignant tumors. If a lump around the eyelid appears, it needs to be surgically removed early and the removed tissue should be sent for pathological examination so that we can accurately understand whether it is a benign or malignant tumor. In the case of malignant tumors of the eyelid, surgery is followed by targeted radiation therapy or chemotherapy.
