In the case of hypodense foci in the right lobe of the liver, the cause of the disease should be clarified before choosing the treatment modality. In general, we need to exclude the possibility of malignant tumor, and we need to check fetoprotein, combined with the patient’s medical history, if there is a previous history of hepatitis B, we should further check CT, MRI and other imaging examinations. If there is enhancement under enhancement, malignant tumor may be initially considered, and a puncture biopsy or surgery is needed. A large proportion of hypodense foci in the right lobe of the liver are considered benign lesions, such as hepatic hemangioma and hepatic cysts, and hypodense foci can also be considered metabolically induced lesions, which require different treatment modalities according to the etiology. Generally, benign foci are small and have no compression symptoms, so conservative treatment can be chosen. If the lesion is significantly enlarged and even compresses important ducts, surgery may be an option, or if the lesion is confused with benign malignancy, surgery may also be an option.
