If the tooth is not fully erupted, CBCT is needed to check the location of the tooth before surgery is considered to extract it. Sometimes it will only be discovered when taking X-rays. If it is not extracted, it will have a certain effect on the patient’s incisors and may even cause resorption of the incisors’ roots. If the patient needs orthodontic treatment, multiple teeth must be extracted to avoid obstruction in the process of tooth movement. Multiple teeth are hereditary, so if parents have multiple teeth in their own mouths, they should take their children for checkups as soon as possible.
