How soon can you have another hysterectomy with a cervical conization?

A hysterectomy can be performed only 3-8 weeks after cervical conization.
Cervical conization is indicated for patients whose cervix has become cancerous, but has not yet developed into cervical cancer. It is suitable for high-grade lesions of the cervix, such as atypical hyperplasia grade II of the cervix and atypical hyperplasia grade III of the cervix. If there are still lesions on the margins, then hysterectomy is needed, and it is recommended to operate within two months after cervical conization. And the recovery of the wound needs to be reviewed.
After cervical conization surgery, patients need to pay attention to rest. The traumatic area caused by the surgery is large and the stitches will be relatively more, and too early activity may cause bleeding from the wound. If the wound recovers relatively well, surgery can be performed as early as possible to avoid infection or metastasis of the lesion.
Consultation with a specialized doctor is recommended for specific cases.
