In some people, the cerumen gland and sebaceous glands are strong, and a large amount of secretions mixed with cells shed from the epidermis form cerumen, which is an oily, sticky substance that accumulates in the external ear canal and sometimes flows outside the ear because of excessive sweating, commonly known as oily ear. Oily ears are hereditary and are dominantly inherited, so they do not affect human health and do not require treatment. However, when there are more blockages, you need to go to the hospital and have them cleaned by a specialist. Patients should avoid smoking, alcohol and a spicy, irritating diet, which can reduce clinical symptoms.
