SBP refers to systolic blood pressure and DBP refers to diastolic blood pressure. At present, there are more and more patients with hypertension in the clinic, and for the convenience of clinical writing, sometimes the abbreviated method is used to indicate systolic and diastolic blood pressure. The current clinical diagnostic criteria for hypertension, without the use of blood pressure lowering drugs, SBP greater than or equal to 140mmHg (and) or, DBP greater than or equal to 90mmHg, can be diagnosed as hypertension. The prevalence of hypertension is currently increasing, but of course there are regional differences in the disease, for example, the group of hypertensive patients in the north is more than the group of patients in the south, and the incidence of hypertension in coastal areas is higher than the incidence of hypertension in inland areas, and the incidence of hypertension in urban areas is significantly higher than the incidence of hypertension in rural areas. Therefore, patients with hypertension must emphasize a low-salt and low-fat diet, pay attention to rest, preferably quit smoking and alcohol, and exercise appropriately.
