Can uterine cancer cause back pain?

Uterine cancer may cause back pain, but back pain is not necessarily due to uterine cancer. Back pain can be caused when uterine cancer metastasizes to distant chest or abdominal tissues and organs, such as lungs, liver, retroperitoneal lymph nodes, kidneys and so on, or metastasizes to thoracic vertebrae or lumbar vertebrae, or when the tumor is so huge as to compress the nerves. It should be noted that back pain is not necessarily caused by uterine cancer, and diseases such as heart and bile duct need to be excluded. If the back pain is caused by uterine cancer, it may be that the tumor has developed distant metastasis and the disease is in the progressive stage, and the patient may be accompanied by other symptoms such as weight loss, weakness, anemia and so on. When uterine cancer patients have back pain, they should go to the hospital in time to clarify the cause of the disease and then give targeted treatment.
