Why is my hand still swollen 60 days after breaking my wrist?

Swelling of the hand after 60 days of wrist fracture may be caused by poor fracture healing, other tissue damage at the fracture site, improper rehabilitation treatment and so on.
1. Poor healing of fracture: poor repositioning of the fracture will cause the fracture ends to be poorly aligned, thus affecting the healing of the fracture, and the local blood circulation of the fracture is not good and swelling occurs.
2. Other soft tissue injuries at the fracture site: Injuries to the muscles, tendons, ligaments and other soft tissues around the fracture site do not cause concern, which may lead to increased local inflammatory reaction and the situation.
3. Improper rehabilitation: after the fracture, without taking the correct rehabilitation measures or listening to the doctor’s guidance, the wrist premature weight-bearing exercise may lead to the fracture damage aggravation and swelling.
If your hand is still swollen 60 days after your wrist fracture, it is advisable to go to the hospital to find out the cause of the problem.
