Clinically, diabetic patients are recommended to drink pure milk. There are more types of pure milk, divided into high-calcium pure milk, whole milk, low-fat pure milk and low-lactose pure milk, which need to be selected according to the patient’s age and condition. The main clinical conditions are as follows: 1. Children with diabetes have a significantly higher demand for calcium because of their growth and development, so it is recommended that they drink high-calcium milk. 2. Adults with diabetes who have combined cardiovascular disease and hyperlipidemia are recommended to drink low-fat milk. 3. For adult diabetic patients, if they are not hyperlipidemic, do not have cardiovascular disease or atherosclerosis, they can drink whole milk in moderation, but the amount should not be too much, not more than 500ml per day. 4. For diabetic patients who cannot tolerate lactose, they can drink low lactose milk.
