Usually incision and drainage of anal abscesses will improve the anal lesions, but if the environment around the anus is not sufficiently cleaned and changed, such as if the anus is not clean, the risk of infection is high, the causes of other diseases such as internal haemorrhoids are not fully resolved and the personal lifestyle is not improved, the anal lesions may easily recur leading to anal redness and swelling.
