There is no best treatment for atrophic gastritis, it varies from person to person. Treatment of atrophic gastritis can be given according to the condition, such as omeprazole, bismuth potassium citrate clarithromycin and other drug therapy, endoscopy, surgical treatment and so on.
1. Drug treatment: omeprazole, amoxicillin, clarithromycin, bismuth potassium citrate and other eradication of Helicobacter pylori, aluminum thioglycollate and other protection of gastric mucosa, domperidone to promote gastric dynamics, cotrimoxazole enteric-coated tablets and other digestive enzyme preparation and other drugs. Adequate supplementation of vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, selenium and other trace elements are also helpful in preventing and relieving atrophic gastritis.
2. Endoscopic or surgical treatment: endoscopic or surgical treatment can be given to those accompanied by severe heterotrophic hyperplasia.
