Oral bleeding is mainly caused by periodontal disease, trauma or blood system disorders, it is recommended to consult a doctor for symptomatic treatment, medication is not necessarily effective in stopping bleeding.
1. Periodontal disease is caused by poor oral hygiene, resulting in the interaction of bacteria and food debris, producing a large amount of plaque to generate tartar and calculus; it will repeatedly stimulate the periodontal tissues leading to inflammation, edema and bleeding, periodontal treatment (such as ultrasonic scaling or periodontal scraping) to effectively remove tartar or calculus and other irritants, so that periodontal tissues to return to normal in order to prevent bleeding.
2. Trauma (e.g. gum laceration, puncture wounds or bite wounds, etc.) can cause bleeding of the oral mucosal tissues, which can only be effectively prevented by compression or surgical suturing to stop bleeding.
3. Blood system diseases can lead to abnormal coagulation function, making the skin or mucous membranes (such as oral mucous membranes) very easy to bleed and not easy to stop bleeding; must consult the hematology department for specialized treatment to avoid serious accidents.
It is recommended to seek medical treatment in time, and the use of medication should be in accordance with the doctor’s prescription, not self-medication.
