What’s the organ a little above the hip bone?

A little above the right hip bone is usually the appendix, appendix, right ureter, and right kidney. A little above the left hip bone is usually the descending colon as well as the left ureter and left kidney. If a patient presents with right lower abdominal pain, appendicitis is usually considered very likely. In the early stages of appendicitis there is pain around the navel, which after a while shifts and becomes fixed in the right lower abdomen. On physical examination, pressure, rebound pain and muscle tension in the right lower abdomen may be present, requiring an ultrasound examination of the appendix. The diagnosis is usually clear and appendectomy is recommended. If pain is present in the left lower abdomen, the likelihood of urinary stones is usually very high, and ureteral stones are usually more common. If the stone becomes lodged in the ureter, it can cause severe pain with nausea, vomiting, and blood in the urine. Ultrasound examination of the urinary tract is usually able to make a clear diagnosis, and after diagnosis, if the stone is less than 6mm, it can be eliminated on its own by drinking plenty of water, and if the stone is larger than 8mm, lithotripsy is usually needed.
