Hemiplegic walking with a wide stance can be exercised by seated leg gripper, single bridge, leg gripper flexion, hip extension and so on.
1. Sitting leg clamp: You can use sitting leg clamp to complete this exercise. Sitting on the seat, feet on the pedal of the device, the inner side of the knee joints close to the plate, the pelvis in a neutral position, the abdomen and chest jaw slightly closed, eyes looking straight ahead, from the side to see the ear, hip and shoulder in a straight line. The back is close to the chair, and the hands are held with a closed grip on the handles of the equipment. Both legs first inward resistance clamping, and then relax from inside to outside movement.
2. Single bridge: both upper limbs extended on the side of the body, the affected leg bent at the hip, bent at the knee, foot supported on the bed, the healthy leg straightened and raised 30-40°, or cocked at the affected knee, lifting the hip and hip extension with force, and hold it for 10s, repeat 10 times.
3. Clamping leg flexion: straighten the legs close together, then bend the hip and knee at the same time, ask the heel to move close to the bed, after sufficient bending, lift the feet up, and bring the knees close to the abdomen. If the strength of the affected leg is insufficient, the affected foot will be placed on the healthy foot to complete this action.
4. Hip extension: let the patient lie flat on the bed, put the affected side of the lower limb on the edge of the bed, the calf area perpendicular to the edge of the bed. Then put a bench on it according to the length of the calf. Then the patient pulls the quadriceps muscle forward and presses down on the body at the same time. Make the calf and the ground present a perpendicular state. Allow the hip joint to be fully extended and the pelvis to be lifted.
The above ways can reduce the adverse effects of hemiplegic external eight gait on the patient. Patients are advised to exercise under the guidance of a doctor and consult a doctor if they have any discomfort.
