  Levocetirizine is mainly used for the treatment of allergic rhinitis, including seasonal persistent allergic rhinitis and perennial persistent allergic rhinitis, as well as chronic idiopathic urticaria. It can be taken for a maximum of about 5-7 days depending on the patient’s condition.  After taking levocetirizine some patients may experience adverse reactions such as headache, drowsiness, dry mouth, fatigue, weakness, abdominal pain, etc. Serious cases may affect liver and kidney function, so patients should not take it for a long time. Also, this drug is prohibited for people who are engaged in occupations such as working at height and requiring a high degree of concentration to avoid danger.  In addition, this product is not recommended for children under 6 years of age because the dose of the drug cannot be adjusted.
