How long it takes to recover from laser surgery depends on the condition being treated, the more common ones such as warts, myopia and spots require different recovery times.
1. warts: laser wart removal, if it is flat warts, filiform warts or common warts, recovery will take about a week or so. If it is acromegaly, it will take about half a month to recover. But if it’s a plantar wart, the recovery time is about a month or so. At the same time, if the larger these lesions are, the longer the repair period needed, the actual recovery time will be longer.
2. Myopia: For laser treatment of myopia, the recovery time is about three days in the case of semi-femtosecond and full-femtosecond laser surgeries, and for superficial laser surgeries, the recovery time takes about a week. And regular follow-up is required at 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year and 2 years after the operation to observe the patient’s visual acuity, refractive status, intraocular pressure, anterior segment of the eye and fundus of the eye.
3. Spot: Laser spot removal can usually be recovered in about one week to ten days if the spot area is small. But if the area is larger, it may take longer to recover.
