Postoperative review of cardia cancer is carried out through blood examination and imaging.
1. Blood examination, which includes blood biochemistry, blood routine and other examinations, especially need to look at the indexes of tumor markers, if there is elevation again or persistent elevation, it is very likely that there is recurrence.
2. Imaging, CT, MRI and other examinations of abdominal location to see whether there are tumors and lumps in the surgical site, and some patients even need to do CT examination of lungs, pelvis and the whole body to determine whether there are relapses and metastases in other parts of the body.
Postoperative review of cardia cancer usually starts from the third month, and it is recommended to review once every three months in the early stage, and can be extended to once every 6-12 months in the later stage.
