As a neurological disease that mainly involves the extrapyramidal system, Parkinson’s disease also requires early and standardized rehabilitation treatment. Through rehabilitation physical therapy, patients can improve their motor function and maintain their daily life functions, and improve their quality of life. The core of Parkinson’s disease rehabilitation training is to emphasize the spirit of independence, with the ultimate goal of self-care and self-sufficiency in life; especially for patients in the early and middle stages, it is essential to strengthen exercise. Here we introduce an easy-to-learn rehabilitation training method that can be done on the home floor, and these training methods help Parkinson’s disease patients to recover. Preparation: If this is your first attempt, it is recommended that a family member accompany you through the exercise. Before you begin, place a rug, a pillow and a chair on the floor. It is important to note that. If you have severe arthritis or pain, or have had knee replacement surgery within the last 6 months, you should not do this exercise. Training steps: Step 1: Make sure you can move your knee normally before you start training. With the arm and the less disease-affected leg supporting the weight, place the more affected knee on the floor first. Step 2: Place the other knee on the floor. Step 3: After placing both knees on the floor, move the knees backwards in sequence so that both upper extremities are braced on the floor in a crawling position. If you feel that your upper extremities can support your weight. You can do this step. Step 4: Move backward to the position where you are ready to lie down, making sure there is enough room to stretch your legs and arms. Step 5: Slowly lower one hip to the floor in a semi-sitting position. This movement may stretch your body a little too much, but as long as you don’t feel pain, you can continue. Make sure you are able to stand up from this pose before moving on to the next movement. Step 6: Finally, lower your body completely, flip onto your side on the floor, and lean your head comfortably on a pre-prepared pillow. Prepare to begin the exercise again. Since you may feel slightly dizzy at the completion of the above exercise, slowly rise from the floor.
