The methods to confirm the diagnosis of diabetes are as follows: 1. Whether the clinical symptoms show the typical manifestation of “three more and one less”, i.e., eating more, drinking more, urinating more often, but losing weight, and the patient obviously feels weak; 2. If fasting blood sugar exceeds 7.0mmol/L, or random blood sugar exceeds 11.1mmol/L, combined with typical clinical symptoms, the diagnosis can be confirmed; 3. Diagnosis is made by glucose tolerance test. Patients will be tested after 8-10 hours of fasting, and if the blood sugar exceeds 11.1mmol/L two hours after meal, the diagnosis of diabetes can be confirmed.
