Effects of Perilla on Gout

Perilla has no efficacious effect on gout. Perilla is the name of a traditional Chinese medicine for the stems and leaves of the labiate perilla plant, Perilla frutescens. Its leaves are perilla leaves and its stem is perilla stalk. This Chinese medicine has the effects of relieving the surface and dispersing cold (removing the cold from the muscle surface), moving qi and relaxing the middle, tranquilizing the fetus, and relieving the poison of fish and crabs. It has therapeutic effects on wind-cold and flu, headache, stagnation of qi in the spleen and stomach. The adverse reactions, contraindications and precautions of this product are not clear at present. Clinically, perilla and patchouli are used for the treatment of cold (cold) and abdominal pain caused by wind-cold; perilla and cicadas are used for the treatment of superficial symptoms (mainly manifested as respiratory symptoms after feeling external evils); perilla and almonds are used for the treatment of cold, cough and shortness of breath caused by wind-cold or lungs; perilla and perilla and perilla are used for the treatment of cough with phlegm and distension of the epigastric (abdominal) region. From the efficacy and action of this product, perilla does not have the effect of treating gout. If there is a need for gout treatment, it should be targeted under the guidance of a Chinese medicine practitioner. If there is a need for medication, it should be used under the guidance of a traditional Chinese medicine doctor, and should not be used blindly on its own to avoid adverse consequences.
