Is oatmeal good for your stomach?

There is no such thing as oatmeal for stomach. Each 100 grams of oats contains 66 grams of carbohydrates, 6.9 grams of fat, 16.8 grams of protein and 10.6 g of dietary fiber. Compared to rice and flour, oats have a higher protein content and are rich in dietary fiber. Due to its relatively high nutrient density, it results in oats being relatively difficult to digest. Especially for patients with indigestion, gastritis and gastric ulcer, if they consume too much oats, it will lead to stomach pain, acid reflux, belching (burping), bloating and other indigestion symptoms. Oats as a common food, does not have the efficacy of drugs, so can not “stomach”. If you are constipated, eating oats can help promote gastrointestinal peristalsis, so constipated patients can eat some in moderation. However, it should be noted that people who are allergic to oats should not eat oats.
