The efficacy of Herba Yin Chen (茵陈草), which is the Chinese medicine Yin Chen (茵陈), is to clear away dampness and heat, and relieve yellowing by inducing diuresis (clearing the biliary tract of evil qi and eliminating jaundice). If the treatment of body and eyes yellow, short urine red (urine volume, color dark yellow) of Yang Huang, with gardenia, rhubarb together; if the treatment of yin yellow, can be accompanied by epimedium, dry ginger and so on.
