What’s wrong with skin dimpling in the early stages of breast cancer?

Breast cancer refers to breast cancer. The appearance of skin indentation in early stage may be caused by the cancer being close to superficial skin and invading ligaments, resulting in localized pulling of the skin and the appearance of indentation. Breast cancer is a malignant tumor originated from breast epithelial cells, and its causes are related to genetic factors, daily dietary habits, exposure to carcinogenic substances, mental factors and hormone level disorders. In the early stage of the disease, the lesion is relatively limited. If the cancer is close to the superficial skin, especially if the cancer invades the local ligaments, it may cause the local skin to be involved and appear indentation symptoms. As the lesion develops, the cancer cells have invasive characteristics and may infiltrate into the surrounding tissues or infiltrate and metastasize to distant organs and tissues through the blood pathway and lymphatic pathway. Clinical symptoms become more obvious, and blood overflow from nipple, breast pain, swelling of surrounding lymph nodes may appear. No matter what symptoms patients have, they should seek early medical treatment and regular treatment after diagnosing the lesions. Combined with surgical treatment, radiotherapy, targeted drugs, endocrine therapy and other measures, try to help patients stabilize their condition and improve their quality of life.
