What should I do if my child has a hunchback?

Children’s hunchback is usually caused by personal posture problems, lack of nutrients, congenital spinal dysplasia, etc., which can be corrected by bad posture, supplementation of nutrients or surgical treatment.
1. Correcting bad posture: If you sit, stand or sleep with your chest hunched over, causing the spine to protrude, you should correct it in time, with the help of assistive devices, and do more lifting of the head and chest.
2. Supplementation of nutrients: when children are malnourished, they may lack the elements for normal bone development, such as calcium deficiency, they should be examined, and usually consume more calcium-rich foods, such as milk, soy milk, shrimp and so on.
3. Surgery: When there is congenital spinal dysplasia, the phenomenon of hunchback will become more serious with age, and it is difficult to be corrected by auxiliary equipment, so surgical treatment is needed, such as spinal osteotomy.
It is recommended to let the child develop good habits, more exercise, not picky about food, if necessary, surgical treatment, do not blindly use their own medicine.
