Alfalfa, also known as goldenseal, light wind grass, its taste bitter, astringent, slightly sweet, flat, non-toxic, with heat cool blood (with the way to relieve blood heat), diuretic yellow, gonorrhea stone efficacy, clinically commonly used in the treatment of fever, jaundice, dysentery, intestinal inflammation, bleeding hemorrhoids, bladder stones, urinary incontinence (urination), edema and other conditions. Qian Cao, sweet, salty, slightly cold in nature, belongs to the liver, gallbladder, kidney and bladder meridians, has the effect of inducing dampness and eliminating jaundice, diuretic and diaphoretic (to improve the problem of dribbling of urine, small amount of urine and incontinence), detoxification and subduing swellings, it can be used for the treatment of jaundice with dampness-heat, biliary distension and coercive pain (pain in the area of coercion and ribs), stone drenching, astringent pain in urination, and snake and insect bites and other diseases.
