The main cause of swollen abdominal lymph nodes in children is an infection. After a viral or bacterial infection, the abdominal lymph nodes tend to increase in size in response. The enlarged abdominal lymph nodes will cause pain in the abdomen, and the pain is persistent, and some may even have fever. If the lymph nodes in the abdomen are larger than 12 mm in diameter, the symptoms are considered to be caused by enlarged lymph nodes in the abdomen. For swollen abdominal lymph nodes, anti-infection and pain relief treatment, such as amoxicillin, can be administered promptly.
