The report card indicates positive open neural tube defects, which is a high risk. There is no need to panic, as an indication of high risk does not necessarily mean neural tube abnormality, and it is very rare that neural tube abnormality actually occurs when an indication of high risk is indicated. In such patients, careful and comprehensive ultrasound screening for malformations is recommended at 22-24 weeks of gestation. If the ultrasound screening confirms neural tube malformation, only then is it determined to be a neural tube malformation and should be treated according to neural tube malformation, but this is very rare. If the ultrasound screening is not problematic, you can follow the normal maternal examination.
