What are the causes of prostatic hyperplasia?

Prostatic hyperplasia is a common occurrence in men over 50 years of age, with a general incidence of 50%. Because the male urethra goes through the prostate, a larger prostate enlargement will inevitably squeeze the urethra to varying degrees, leading to difficulty in urination. According to statistics, old age and testicular secretion of androgens are the two most important factors that lead to prostate enlargement. Because all prostate enlargement occurs in older people, if you have a testicle removal as a teenager, then prostate enlargement will not occur even in old age. However, according to the Institute of Urology, Beijing Medical University, which conducted pathological examinations on 95 unselected Chinese men over the age of 41 in 1989 to 1992, it was found that 30,5% had prostatic hyperplasia, which is 4,6 times more than the 6,6% in 1936. Within half a century, the two traditional factors for the occurrence of prostate enlargement in the country have not changed, while the incidence of prostate enlargement has increased so much, which shows that the traditional view cannot fully explain the etiology of prostate enlargement. It may also be closely related to the increase in people’s total calorie, fat and animal protein intake, the mystery of which has yet to be revealed. The reason for the increase in the prostate gland is recognized by the medical community as follows: 1. Excessive sexual life and masturbation make the sexual organs congested and the prostate tissue enlarged due to persistent blood depression. 2, chronic inflammation of the prostate is not completely cured, or urethritis, cystitis, seminitis, etc., so that the prostate tissue is congested and enlarged. 3, frequent alcoholism or long-term drinking, addiction to spicy and other stimulating foods, stimulating prostate hyperplasia. 4, lack of physical exercise, easy hardening of the arteries, poor local blood circulation in the prostate, will also lead to this disease.
