Can intercourse in late pregnancy induce labor?

Coitus to induce labor is not advocated in late pregnancy.
Sexual intercourse is prohibited in late pregnancy. On the one hand, as the uterine opening will gradually open in late pregnancy, the sensitivity of the uterus is strengthened, if coitus may stimulate uterine contraction, thus increasing the risk of prenatal hemorrhage, premature rupture of membranes, preterm labor and so on.
On the other hand, during pregnancy, the pregnant woman’s own resistance decreases, the vagina’s ability to resist germs is also relatively poor, coitus is easy to lead to intrauterine infection, and even lead to fetal hypoxia, asphyxia and so on. Therefore, sex needs to be prohibited in late pregnancy, and it is not advocated to induce labor through coitus, so as not to cause serious effects.
Under normal circumstances, after the development and maturation of the fetus, it can stimulate the mother’s body to secrete hysterotonin, prostaglandin, etc., thus causing labor to start. If a pregnant woman does not see obvious signs of labor when she reaches her due date, she can go for a walk, exercise appropriately, etc. If necessary, consult a doctor in a timely manner and induce labor under the guidance of a doctor to ensure the health of the mother and baby during labor.
