Lipoma is a very common benign tumor in human body, most often seen in the subcutaneous fat layer on the surface of the skin, which can often be touched by hand and has a soft texture, and the boundary of the mass can be found to be relatively clear when doing ultrasound examination. If the lipoma is small and has no symptoms, it can be temporarily observed and not treated. If the lipoma is large or painful to press, or if it affects aesthetics or is suspected to be malignant, surgery is required.
