Tiger Balm Foot Soak

Tiger Balm is a proprietary Chinese medicine that is usually taken orally or used externally, and is applied externally by sprinkling the contents on the wound. Tiger Balm is not usually used for foot soaking. Hu Li San has the effect of dispelling wind and dampness, subduing swelling and relieving pain (eliminating swelling and pain). Soaking the feet in Tiger Balm may reduce the efficacy of the drug and generally fail to achieve the therapeutic effect.
Tiger Balm is composed of the system of Cao Wu, Panax notoginseng, Broken Segment Ginseng, White Cloud Ginseng. It has the effect of dispelling wind and dampness, relaxing the tendons and activating the collaterals, promoting blood stasis, and eliminating swelling and pain. It is used for the treatment of rheumatism and numbness, tendon and bone pain, bruises, wounds and bleeding.
Pregnant women should not use Tiger Balm. The adverse effects of Hu Li San are not clear.
