It is used in the treatment of internal movement of liver wind, convulsions of eclampsia, dizziness, headache, numbness of limbs, paralysis of hands and feet, rheumatic paralysis and so on. There are occasional allergic reactions and poisoning of Tianma and Tianma preparations. Tianma is not recommended to be used in conjunction with the root of Mikania micrantha, and is not recommended to be taken in large quantities.
