How to treat hormonal dermatitis

Hormonal dermatitis is caused by excessive or inappropriate use of local hormonal drugs, patients can be treated by general treatment, topical drugs, systemic medication and other ways.
1. General treatment: patients with hormonal dermatitis need to stop using hormonal drugs as soon as possible, but also pay attention to avoiding high temperature sun exposure to prevent aggravation of the condition.
2. Topical medication: Hormonal dermatitis often manifests itself in rosacea-like lesions, inflammatory skin reactions and other symptoms, and can generally be treated with topical tacrolimus ointment, butylhydroxy acid cream, boric acid solution and other drugs.
3. Systemic medication: antihistamine drugs such as chlorpheniramine can be used to treat those with obvious itching symptoms, and minocycline and tetracycline can be used to inhibit bacterial infections of hair follicles in patients with acne-like dermatitis.
It is recommended that patients with hormonal dermatitis consult a doctor as soon as possible, actively cooperate with the doctor’s treatment, and use medication under the doctor’s guidance to prevent serious adverse reactions.
