Varicose veins do not affect sexual function. Varicose veins are mainly due to increased pressure in the veins, thinning of the vein walls and dilatation and tortuosity, which in most cases affects the patient’s appearance. Sexual function and vascular related causes are mainly due to inadequate blood supply, stenosis, occlusion of internal iliac artery leading to sexual function abnormalities, patients will show impotence, premature ejaculation, these sexual function adverse conditions and varicose veins are not related.
