Coronary CT is an ancillary test used to check whether the arteries are normal, using a contrast medium injected into the patient’s blood vessels through a vein, which reaches the coronary arteries and then performs a CT image.
Usually, the coronary CT examination takes 10 to 15 minutes, and after the examination, the CT image obtained from the scan is analyzed by computer software for three-dimensional reconstruction, which reconstructs the image of the contrast medium in the coronary artery. Therefore, it usually takes 3 hours to get the result at the soonest, and if the number of people being examined on the same day is large, the time to get the result will be even longer, and the result will be released in 1-3 working days if it is slow.
