Cervical squamous epithelial lesions are classified as CIN1, CIN2 and CIN3. For CIN1, if the cytology is LSIL or below, the case can be followed up and no special treatment is needed. If the cytology is HSIL, laser or freezing or cervical conization can be used in this case. For CIN2 and CIN3, cervical conization is generally recommended, including both laparotomy and cold knife conization of the cervix. Depending on the pathology results after cervical conization, the decision on the next step of treatment is made. Squamous epithelial lesions of the cervix need to be combined with colposcopic findings, as well as TCT and HPV laboratory results, before deciding how to treat them, and one should not rely solely on CIN1, CIN2, or CIN3 to make inferences.
