Generally leeches are decocted and used to regulate the body.
Leeches are the dried whole body of leeches, willow leaf leeches or leeches of the family Hirudinidae, which are slightly toxic and belong to the liver meridian, with salty and bitter taste and flat nature. It has the efficacy of removing blood stasis and eliminating the symptoms (removing blood stasis and lumps in the body), breaking blood stasis and promoting menstruation (breaking blood stasis and usually the meridians).
It can be used to treat blood stasis and menstrual occlusion (stoppage of menstruation due to stagnation of blood stasis), obstruction in the abdomen (lumps in women’s lower abdomen), plaques (lumps), and hemiplegia in stroke. Adverse effects of leeches are not known. It should be noted that this product is contraindicated in pregnant women.
This product is often used in combination with Curcuma longa, Trigonella foenum and Momordica charantia, or with gadfly for the treatment of blood stasis, menstrual closure and obstruction of mass in the abdomen and lumps.
If uncomfortable symptoms occur, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time, and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment, do not blindly use medication on your own, in order to avoid adverse consequences.
